double helix DNA license plates
I’ve noticed this hologram on the new MN license plates. It runs down the middle of the plate and it looks like DNA. I’ve also seen this hologram on the IA and LA plates. According to my internet search, the same hologram appears on many state plates and even on European plates.
Further research reveals that the hologram is federally mandated and is a 3M image connected to a technology called Ensure Virtual Security (side note: what is “virtual” security and is it related to the “war” on “terror”?).
